ABOUT ME
I am Andy and the owner of Top Class Dog Training. When it comes to dogs with behavioural problems I can empathise with your position, as it was one of my own rescue Dobermann that ignited my passion, and set me on the path to help other dogs and owners conquer their problems.
I am fully qualified to level 5 in Canine Behaviour, and have been mentored by one of the UK’s leading behaviourists and dog trainers. I am a member of the Institute of Modern Dog Training Behaviour (IMDTB), and ensure my skills and knowledge are kept up-to-date with a continual program of ongoing training and development by attending regular workshops and seminars.
All our work with owners and dogs focuses on positive reinforcement methods. We strive to help you to improve your relationship with your dog through methods like interactive play.
ONE-TO-ONE TRAINING
At Top Class we specialise in one-to-one training sessions. Whether you have a general training issue or would just like to develop your dog’s skills Andy can help you with a range of common but sometimes challenging training issues.

BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATION
If your dog has abnormal or problem behaviours, then a behaviour consultation will provide support and a training programme designed to modify your dog’s specific behavioural problems. At Top Class our consultations are designed to put owners at ease and work with them to produce the best results possible and succeed in modifying behaviour.

DOG WALKING SERVICE
Dog Walking
We understand the importance of exercise to give your dog a happy and healthy lifestyle, but appreciate that for many owners fitting everything in can sometimes be challenging.
Whatever your circumstances, you can contact me for a free, no obligation chat about you and your dog’s needs.
We can offer solo walks (additional household dogs can be added) or group walks. We can cater for any breed or size of dog. We can even cater for the most problematic or challenging of behaviours using a private fenced paddock.
Where we differ from other dog walking services is that all walks are conducted or overseen by dog trainers / behaviourists, so we are very comfortable dealing with issues like pulling on a lead or bad recall. If required, training for specific issues can be built into our walking service.
Our services do not have to be on a regular commitment, we are happy to support you short-term as required, or discuss a regular service.
You can rest assured that only positive methods are used, and your dog will be treated as if it was our own. We all have a current DBS check, and can provide any references if required.
